Designer of the Year is an initiative of Knack Weekend & Le Vif Weekend magazines.

The award was first presented in 2006 to highlight Belgian design talent.

On Oct. 17, the 19th Knack Weekend Designer of the Year will be presented at Design Nation and interviewed live by Amélie Rombauts, chief design officer at Knack Weekend and Le Vif Weekend.
